Explanation
Class is divided into colour teams. Each team stands in its appropriately coloured hula hoop.
Laminated True and False cards are placed, in pairs, in line with each colour team, and at a desired distance.
Teacher reads from a list of premade statements. After each statement, teams decide on their answer, and 1 or 2 (or all) of the team run to the true/false cards to display their answer to the teacher.
Teacher and group can then debrief the answers provided.
Variation/progression
In pairs, 2 students place a ball between their hips and hold it there without using their hands and run to the True/False cards that way. (This is a way of leveling the field and/or lessening the physical activity of the lesson, if there are highly competitive students in the group, or if it is a warm day.)
